To create an Arab community network

To benefit Arab businesses through collective negotiating power

To organize resourceful events which add value to our community

To advise local representatives on the community’s interests

Our Leadership

The Association of Arab Businesses of British Columbia (AABBC) will be lead by a Board of Directors, which must adhere to the criteria hereby set:​

  • The board shall consist of exactly five members

  • Decisions agreed upon by a voting majority of (3) directors shall be implemented

  • The board may not include more than (3) persons of the same gender

  • The board must include 1 active student recommended

  • The board must include 1 person above the age of 45 years

  • All directors must be reside in the province of British Columbia for a minimum of six months per year

  • For a new director to be instated, they must undergo an interview with all (5) board members and receive a voting majority as outlined in clause 2
